Testers' Ratings

It retains its place as a versatile reference from Ride thanks to excellent snow contact and complete, lively and precise handling.

The Machete remains a safe bet on the versatile-board market that is so competitive. It offers a proposal more in finesse and sensitivity, if only by widely distributing leaning in turns. This gives it softness and strength, without giving up its liveliness or precision on the edge. It is a compact and consistent board, but that one deforms well in flex and torsion, to obtain varied handling in the center. When we engage more, we discover nervousness and power, allowing for excellent performance. Its flawless snow contact ensures comfort in varied terrain. It takes over the terrain with much stability and security. Tip pops are effective, with good ollies that requires a bit of preparation or speed. It is a very complete board capable of providing a correct and measured response to whatever is asked of it. It meets the expectations of the best riders as well as those of more modest ones.
