Testers' Ratings

This short tail shape specializes in this fun freeride for powder snow, although at mid speed on the piste, it also has vivacity and edge grip.

The Storm Chaser is, as its name suggests, very specialized in powder snow. It is a very typical fish with a short tail, with a rather centered flex. You'll stay well balanced, with front stability, rear grip and a center with support and control. It delivers small, sharp, fast carvings, quite typical of this type of fish board. It's when you speed it up that it becomes more technical to ride. To really hold the curves, you have to be vigilant and active, distribute the support properly between the two feet so that it's clean. On the other hand, in powder snow, it is very simple to ride, moves on its own, takes off perfectly, and is easily placed thanks to its playful nose. It is very much in the exclusive trend of playful freerides that have a really short ride, and handle in a surfy way. For a less specific use, you can turn to the Mind Expander.
