Testers' Ratings

It is versatile and has the compact and cutting-edge character of a freeride board. This new freeride board is a complete and varied handling board. Trustworthy on any type of snow condition!

Burton offers a board with a character quite different from the rest of its freeride range with this Hometown Hero. The flex is unconventional with increased support outside the feet towards the tips. It also promotes lift over the entire length of the board. This 152 really gives the feeling of a 156-158 with surprising stability and a sense of edging through the carve. We have the complete, precise, and varied control of a versatile board with the compact and cutting edge character of a freeride. The general reactivity of the board and the power it releases allow the rider to break the ground while keeping an impressive snow contact. The board clearly distinguishes itself from the Leader Board due to a more versatile character. Plus it must also be shorter length-wise.
